NOTICE 

The deadline for the submission of movies has been extended until 14 April 2022 at 17:00. 

 

Participants that have already submitted a movie can use the additional time to work on their movie's and submit an updated version before the deadline if they wish.

Calling all filmmakers! Medianet is hosting the MS Short Movie Challenge for all you filmmakers to showcase your talent! Enter your movie and stand the chance to win a cash prize!

 

The best movie will win an MVR 100,000 grand prize

2^nd will receive MVR 50,000

3^rd place will receive MVR 30,000

 

All 3 winners will also receive the chance to partner with Medianet and make content with us!

 

The winners will be chosen based on a composite of the judge's decision and views received by the movie on MS.

 

Our guidelines for the movie are simple:

• The movie must be 40 minutes or less
• Video resolution in 1080p at 50fps
• Can be any genre except political or anti-religious

To take part:

1. Fill in MS Short Movie Challenge Participation Form and submit it to ms@medianet.com.mv by 17:00 on 3 March 2022
2. Submit the movie and additional materials to us by 17:00 on 25 March 2022 (UPDATED to 14 April 2022) – please read the terms and conditions linked above for more details.
3. We will host your movie on MS and track the views from 2 April 2022 to 2 May 2022.

 

The winners will be announced on a program to be hosted on ICE TV!
